Participation in the Phoenix Iron Gauntlet requires agreement to the following liability waiver and terms. Please read carefully before registering.

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in martial arts and tournament competition involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

Physical injury, Contact-related injuries, Falls, collisions, and accidents, Equipment failure or misuse. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, whether known or unknown.

2. Release of Liability

I hereby release and hold harmless:

Phoenix Martial Arts, LLC, Event organizers, staff, volunteers, and referees, Smyrna High School and facility staff from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, damage, or loss that may occur during participation in the Phoenix Iron Gauntlet.

3. Medical Consent

In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize event staff to obtain necessary medical treatment for the participant. I understand that I am responsible for any and all medical expenses incurred.


4. Equipment Responsibility

I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to ensure that all required protective equipment is:

Properly fitted, In good condition, Worn at all required times. Failure to use proper equipment may increase the risk of injury.

5. Rules & Conduct

I agree to abide by all tournament rules, referee decisions, and event staff instructions. I understand that unsportsmanlike conduct may result in disqualification without refund.

6. No Guarantee of Outcome

I understand that registration does not guarantee:

Specific match times, Number of matches, Division size or structure. Divisions will be organized based on age, weight, and rank at the discretion of event staff.



7. Refund Policy

I understand and agree that:

Registration fees are non-refundable after the registration deadline. No refunds will be issued for missed matches or disqualification

8. Media Release

I grant permission to Phoenix Martial Arts to use photos and videos taken during the event for:

Marketing, Social media, Promotional purposes, without compensation.

9. Minor Participant Clause

If the participant is under 18 years of age:

I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the participant and have the authority to consent to this agreement on their behalf. I acknowledge and accept all risks and terms outlined in this waiver for the minor participant.

10. Acknowledgment of Agreement

By completing registration, I acknowledge that:
