Taekwondo athletes competing in Olympic-style sparring

no more one & done

Too many athletes travel for hours, pay tournament entry fees, and only get one match.

That's not enough time to learn, adjust, and grow.

The Phoenix Iron Gauntlet was built to change that.

ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT.

Coach mentoring a young Taekwondo athlete before competition

The Phoenix Iron Gauntlet was not created because the martial arts world needed another tournament.

It was created by coaches who know what it feels like to train athletes for months, travel for hours, and watch their day end after one match.

We wanted to build the kind of event we wish existed more often—one where athletes can compete, make adjustments, face adversity, and step back into the ring.

Every decision behind the Iron Gauntlet is centered on one goal: giving athletes a meaningful competition experience that helps them improve.
