Welcome to the Phoenix Iron Gauntlet website. By accessing this website or registering for the tournament, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use this website or register for the event.


Tournament Registration

Registration is considered complete only after payment has been successfully processed.

Each athlete must complete a separate registration and payment, including siblings and teammates.

Phoenix Iron Gauntlet reserves the right to refuse or cancel any registration at its sole discretion.


Division Adjustments

To provide safe, competitive, and meaningful divisions, Phoenix Iron Gauntlet reserves the right to combine, split, or modify divisions based on factors including, but not limited to:

  • Age
  • Belt Rank
  • Weight
  • Gender
  • Registration Numbers


Tournament officials may also adjust divisions as necessary to ensure fair competition. All division assignments and tournament management decisions are final.


Tournament Changes

Phoenix Iron Gauntlet reserves the right to:

  • Modify the tournament schedule.
  • Change ring assignments.
  • Adjust competition times.
  • Correct registration errors.
  • Modify event procedures.
  • Cancel, postpone, or reschedule the tournament due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Every reasonable effort will be made to communicate significant changes to registered participants.


Refund Policy

Registration fees are non-refundable after the published registration deadline.

Refund requests submitted prior to the registration deadline may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

If Phoenix Iron Gauntlet cancels the tournament, participants will be notified regarding available refund or credit options.


Athlete Eligibility & Responsibility

By registering, participants acknowledge that:

  • All registration information provided is accurate and complete.
  • Athletes meet the eligibility requirements for the division in which they are registered.
  • Athletes agree to compete under the published tournament rules.
  • Parents or legal guardians are responsible for registering participants under the age of 18.


Assumption of Risk

Martial arts competition involves inherent risks, including the possibility of serious injury.

By participating in the Phoenix Iron Gauntlet, competitors and their parents or legal guardians voluntarily assume all risks associated with tournament participation.


Participation is entirely voluntary.


Medical Authorization

In the event of a medical emergency, tournament officials may obtain appropriate medical treatment for a participant if a parent or legal guardian cannot be immediately reached.

Any medical expenses incurred remain the responsibility of the participant or parent/legal guardian.


Photography & Media Release

By attending the Phoenix Iron Gauntlet, participants, coaches, parents, and spectators acknowledge that photographs and video recordings may be taken throughout the event.

Phoenix Iron Gauntlet and Phoenix Martial Arts may use these images and recordings for:

  • Website content
  • Social media
  • Promotional materials
  • Future event marketing
  • Educational content


No compensation will be provided for the use of such media.


Code of Conduct

Athletes, coaches, parents, officials, volunteers, and spectators are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times.


Phoenix Iron Gauntlet reserves the right to remove any participant or spectator whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, abusive, or otherwise inconsistent with the values of the event.


Intellectual Property

All website content, logos, branding, graphics, photographs, videos, and written materials are the property of Phoenix Iron Gauntlet and Phoenix Martial Arts unless otherwise noted.

No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.


Limitation of Liability

Phoenix Iron Gauntlet, Phoenix Martial Arts, tournament staff, volunteers, officials, sponsors, and venue partners shall not be liable for injuries, illnesses, property loss, theft, damages, or expenses arising from participation in or attendance at the tournament, except where required by applicable law.


Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located within the State of Tennessee.
